About the tournament

From July 27 to August 16, the outdoor hard courts of the Beeline Arena National Tennis Center in Astana will host the President's Cup, an international series of professional tennis tournaments bringing together events from the ATP Challenger Tour and the World Tennis Tour.



The series will feature two stages:

• July 27 – August 9 — World Tennis Tour W15/M15 Asu Open tournaments;
• August 10–16 — ATP Challenger 50 and World Tennis Tour W15 tournaments.

This year, Kazakhstan will be represented on home courts by some of the country's most promising players: Amir Omarkhanov, Zangar Nurlanuly, Damir Zhalgasbay, Aruzhan Sagandykova, Asylzhan Arystanbekova, Inkar Dyusebay, Sandugash Kenzhibayeva, and Albina Kakenova.

The President's Cup is one of Kazakhstan's oldest and most prestigious international professional tennis tournaments. It has been held in Astana since 1991 and was granted international status in 2007. Over the years, the tournament has become an important platform for the development of professional tennis and the emergence of new talent.

Past champions include Kazakhstan's Mikhail Kukushkin and Andrey Golubev, Ukraine's Illya Marchenko, Austria's Sebastian Ofner, current Germany Davis Cup captain Rainer Schüttler, Australian Open and Roland Garros doubles champion Ivan Dodig, two-time Grand Slam doubles champion Zhang Shuai of China, and many other renowned tennis players.

For many years, the President's Cup has remained an important stepping stone in the careers of young athletes, providing them with the opportunity to earn valuable ranking points, gain international competitive experience, and establish themselves on the professional tour.
