Billie Jean King Cup Juniors 2023
About the tournament

From May 1 to 6, Shymkent will host the Asia / Oceania Final Qualifying Juniors Billie Jean King Cup. The strongest 16&U juniors of Asia/Oceania will participate in the competitions.
The following girls' teams will compete for an entry to the World Championships: Kazakhstan, Australia, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, New Zealand, Thailand, Uzbekistan, Vietnam.
Each event will be attended by 16 teams divided into four groups. The top two teams of each group will enter the play-off. They will then compete for an entry to the World Team Championships. This year three entries will be given to the A/O girls (finalists will automatically qualify for the World Cup, and the semifinalists will play each other to enter the World Cup).
Note that in parallel with Shymkent the qualifiers will be held in other parts of the world. Europe, Africa, South America, North and Central America will host other qualifying competitions to determine the final 16 teams that will compete in the World Championships next summer.
