The first semi-finalists in doubles of Forte Challenger 125
The fifth matchday of Forte Challenger 125 just began and already revealed the first semi-finalists in doubles.
The third seeded Aleksandr Nedovyesov and Viktor Troicki reached Forte Challenger 125 semifinals without a fight, the KTF press service reports.
In the quarterfinals, the Kazakh-Serbian tandem was supposed to play against Dmitry Popko from Kazakhstan and Aleksandre Metreveli from Georgia. According to the tournament’s official representative, Aleksandre Metreveli pulled a muscle during the warm-up.
In addition, two Kazakhstanis will play in the tournament today. In doubles, Grigoriy Lomakin paired with Ukrainian Vladyslav Manafov will play against Canadians Peter Polansky and Brayden Schnur to get to the semifinals. Timofey Skatov / Otto Virtanen will face the top seeds Lammons / Withrow.
