Yelena Rybakina, «I wish all Kazakhstani tennis players good luck and victories at home competitions»
Kazakhstan's No. 1 Yelena Rybakina informed the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation press service of her absence in the «Astana Open» WTA-250 due to the tight schedule of competitions in the WTA Tour.
«In a couple of days in Nur-Sultan, the first ever combined men's and women's «Astana Open» ATP-250 and WTA-250 event will take place. I'm very glad of this event taking place, and would like to thank the President of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation Mr. Bulat Utemuratov and other sponsors for such an opportunity and the development of tennis in the country. I am confident that the competition of such a level will increase interest in tennis in Kazakhstan even more. The event appeared very unexpectedly, and unfortunately, it could't fit in my schedule as it was not planned in advance, but I hope that in the next seasons I will have the opportunity to perform in Kazakhstan and finally play live in front of my home audience, who support and cheer for me», noted Rybakina.
