Kazakhstan team falls to Monaco
The tie between the national teams of Kazakhstan and Monaco in the Davis Cup World Group I Play-offs has concluded at the Beeline Arena courts in Astana.
The decisive fourth singles match featured Alexander Bublik against Valentin Vacherot. At the start of the match, Monaco led the tie 2–1. After a hard-fought contest, the Kazakhstani player lost in two tie-break sets, 6–7 (4–7), 6–7 (7–9).
Following the result of the tie, Kazakhstan will compete in the Davis Cup World Group II Play-offs in September, where the team will fight for a return to World Group I.
