The lineup of the national team of Kazakhstan for the match against Germany has been determined
The application form of our national women's team for the match of the qualifying round of the Billie Jean King Cup has been published - as reported by the press service of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
The coaching staff of the Kazakhstan team headed by Yaroslava Shvedova chose the following players: Yelena Rybakina (No.20 in WTA Singles ranking), Anna Danilina (No.22 in WTA Doubles ranking), Yulia Putintseva (No.47 WTA Singles), Zarina Diyas (No.110 WTA Singles), Zhibek Kulambayeva (No.297 WTA Doubles).
The matches will take place on April 15-16 in the city of Nur-Sultan on a specially constructed clay surface at the National Tennis Center.
«The rankings and recent tournament results were taken into account when forming the lineup. Zhibek Kulambayeva will make her debut as a member of the team. I think that young people need to be given an opportunity. They should see that everyone has a chance to get into the main team of the country. Germany has a great experience and a balanced squad, but we play on home ground in front of our fans and it is a significant advantage for us to get to the final stage» - said the captain of the National Kazakhstan Team Yaroslava Shvedova.
