Kazakhstanis are keeping up with successful performance at the tournament in Astana
Dmitry Popko and Mikhail Kukushkin made their way to the quarterfinals of the Presidents Cup-2017 international tournament.
In the second round, Dmitry Popko beat Nikola Miloevich from Serbia in two sets, 6:3, 7:5. Now Popko will compete with compatriot Mikhail Kukushkin, who previously beat Yaroslav Shylo from Belarus, 6:4, 6:1 for the exit to the semifinal of the tournament.
Also, Popko paired with Kazakhstani Andrei Golubev went into the second round, beating Japanese Yuya Kibi and Shuichi Sekiguchi, 7:5, 7:6.
Note that $ 225,000 Presidents Cup-2017 is held from 17 to 23 July in Astana.
