Hungary’s No. 1 Fabian Marozsan to compete at Almaty Open ATP 250

One of Hungary’s leading tennis players, Fabian Marozsan, has confirmed his participation in the Almaty Open, an ATP 250 tournament set to take place in Almaty from October 17 to 25.

The 26-year-old currently sits at No. 54 in the ATP Rankings. Marozsan reached a career-high ranking of World No. 36 in May 2024.

The Hungarian has continued to compete regularly on the ATP Tour this season. At the beginning of the year, he reached the semifinals of the ATP 250 event in Auckland before matching that result on the grass courts of Mallorca in June. Marozsan claimed three victories during his run in Spain before falling in three sets to eventual champion Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

The Almaty Open ATP 250 traditionally attracts a strong field of players and is part of the official ATP Tour calendar. The tournament is one of Kazakhstan’s major international sporting events of the autumn and draws the attention of tennis fans from around the world each year.
