Alexander Bublik falls in the fourth round of Wimbledon 2026

Kazakhstan’s top men’s singles player Alexander Bublik was defeated in the fourth round of the Wimbledon Championships.

Ranked No. 11 in the ATP rankings and seeded 10th, Bublik faced world No. 7 and sixth seed Taylor Fritz of the United States.

The match lasted three sets and ended in a 7:6 (7:1), 6:4, 6:4 victory for Fritz.

The players spent 1 hour and 41 minutes on court. During the match, Bublik fired 13 aces, committed five double faults, and converted one of his three break-point opportunities.

As a result, Kazakhstan’s top-ranked player finished his Wimbledon 2026 campaign one step short of the quarterfinals. By reaching the fourth round, Bublik also earned additional ATP ranking points.
