World Tennis Day in Astana, Kazakhstan

  Kids Tournament dedicated to the World Tennis Day was held in National Tennis Center in Astana, Kazakhstan.

  Tennis Day was introduced by International Tennis Federation (ITF) on March 4, 2013 in order to increase tennis popularity and attract more children.

 

  Kazakhstan Tennis Federation is a member of ITF . KTF popularizes and develops tennis in every region of Kazakhstan. Tennis 10 and under attracts children and increases the number of kids playing tennis. 14 regions are involved in the program; there are 29 schools, 32 kindergartens and 2500 children. Program objective is to make a smooth transition for talented children from mini tennis to tennis on courts.
