The first multifunctional community center in Kazakhstan, located in the city of Kosshy, recently hosted a special visit from the nation's tennis elite. Leading Kazakhstani players Anna Danilina and Sonya Zhiyenbayeva visited the facility to explore its world-class amenities and spend time with the region’s aspiring young athletes.

Opened in 2025, the community center introduced a unique open-space format to the country. The facility serves as a hub for education and leisure, housing everything from a library and co-working spaces to robotics, music, and arts-and-crafts studios. During their visit, the athletes toured the infrastructure and held a joint training session with students from the local tennis section.

Anna Danilina praised the high standards of the complex:

«This center, built through the initiative of the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation, is simply excellent. I haven’t seen anything quite like this even abroad. It is modern, welcoming, and provides every possible resource for children to thrive – both in sports and creative arts. I would love to see more centers like this across the entire country».

Today, the center offers a diverse range of activities for children, including chess, choreography, robotics, and traditional crafts. For adults, it provides a comfortable environment for work, networking, and recreation. Admission to the center is free, and all classes are available at affordable rates.

The project, realized by the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation, represents a major contribution to the city’s urban infrastructure. With a total investment of $20 million, the facility was donated to the city’s municipality. This modern, international-standard open space serves not only as an educational hub but also as a key driver for social integration and community development in the region.
