This is my first visit to Kazakhstan, and it left the warmest impressions,» shared Shilpa Puttaraju (India).
«Until 2022, there was no wheelchair tennis in Kazakhstan, and in three years we have come a long way. Today, we have an athlete in the top 100 of the world rankings and our teams participate in international team tournaments. And this is just the beginning. The tournament in Astana was held at the level of the world's leading competitions, and we hope that in the future it can become one of the best events in the world,» said Dave Miley, Executive Director of the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.
KTF is confident that the series of tournaments are the starting point for the formation of a new tradition - holding regular international wheelchair tennis competitions in Central Asia.
