
The first wild card holders for the ATP 250 Almaty Open have been announced
The organizers of the ATP 250 tournament in Almaty have announced the names of wild card holders.
Timofei Skatov and Beibit Zhukayev received special invitations to the main draw in singles. Amir Omarkhanov has become the owner of wild card in qualification.
In the doubles main draw the following players will play: Alexander Shevchenko - Timofey Skatov and Denis Yevseyev - Beibit Zhukayev.
Denis Yevseyev (Almaty), Beibit Zhukayev (Aktau) and Amir Omarkhanov (Karaganda) are the trainees of Kazakhstan school of tennis, and Timofey Skatov is a native of Petropavlovsk.
The ATP 250 Almaty Open will be held in the southern capital of Kazakhstan on October 13-20. World tennis stars Francis Tiafoe (15 ATP), Sebastian Korda (16 ATP), Alejandro Tabilo (22 ATP), Arthur Fils (24 ATP), Karen Khachanov (27 ATP), Flavio Cabolli (32 ATP), Tomas Machac (34 ATP), Adrian Mannarino (44 ATP) and others have already entered the competition. The honor of Kazakhstan will be defended by: Alexander Bublik, Alexander Shevchenko, Mikhail Kukushkin and Alexander Nedovyesov.
