Alexander Bublik falls in Stuttgart semifinals
Kazakhstan’s top-ranked men’s singles player Alexander Bublik was eliminated in the semifinals of the ATP 250 tournament in Stuttgart, Germany.
The world No. 11 and third seed faced American Taylor Fritz, the world No. 9, in a match for a place in the final.
The encounter lasted two sets and ended with a 6-4, 6-4 victory for Fritz.
The players spent 1 hour and 9 minutes on court. During the match, Bublik fired nine aces, committed five double faults, and converted one of his three break-point opportunities.
As a result, Bublik concluded his run at the Stuttgart tournament at the semifinal stage.
