
Elena Rybakina enters the Guinness Records
The Guinness Book of Records has officially registered the achievement of Kazakh tennis player Elena Rybakina, who has won the largest prize money in tennis history. The Kazakhstani earned $5.235 million for her victory at the WTA Finals in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
No tennis player has ever earned such an amount for a single tournament before. The previous records were held by Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who each earned $5 million at the US Open in September 2025.
