National Team

The national men's team representing Kazakhstan in the Davis Cup has been participating in the tournament since 1995, while since 2011 Kazakhstan players have been participating in the World Group. The team is currently participating in the World Group event. The leadership of the team is determined by the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.

The DC WG QFs were almost like the limit for Kazakh players until 2019. The nation's players have reached the quarterfinals five times (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018) with No. 13 in the ITF ranking.

In 2018, the Kazakhstan national team traditionally entered the TOP-8 strongest national teams. In February 2019, our national team won a fundamental victory over the Portuguese national team, 3:1, which allowed Kazakhstan to reach the final round of the Davis Cup. The final stage of the competition took place on November 18-24, 2019 in Madrid. Our team got into Group "E", where they met with Dutch and British teams. On the first game day, the Kazakhstani national team beat the Dutch, 2:1, but failed to reach the playoffs, losing to the British 1: 2.

In 2020, the national team made it to the DC WG Finals for the second time, which was supposed to be held in November this year in Madrid, but due to the coronavirus outbreak, the event was postponed to 2021.
It will be attended by 18 teams that have already reached this year Final. The draw will remain unchanged. Our team will play in Group "B" with teams from Sweden and Canada.

Kazakhstan national team captains:
- Dias Doskaraev (FC & DC captain since 2012 until 2020).
